Description:
The Development Office at Gaylord Hospital is in charge of raising money. An intern is needed to help us expand into non traditional avenues such as the internet. Specifically, we are looking to have a presence on Second Life, Facebook, Craigslist, YouTube, iGive, etc. The intern needs to be technologically savvy and be familiar with social networking sites and virtual worlds. The intern will need to be able to write and design depending on what the sites require. They must also be able to teach non tech savvy staff how to maintain and update sites once the internship is over.

 

Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate should be computer savvy. Familiarity with networking sites, virtual worlds and avatars is necessary. Creativity is central to this effort. An understanding of fundraising and marketing are a plus.
